Andreas Wanke is the Head of the Unit for Sustainability and Energy Management and Coordinator of Sustainability and Energy Management.

The Sustainability and Energy Management Unit is responsible for the strategic and operative development of energy and environmental management. In addition to energy management, which plays a key role with regard to operational environmental impact and costs, the most important tasks include waste and water management, as well as advising and assisting members of the university.

Andreas Wanke spend an extended Administrators Stay at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. During his stay he used the opportunity to get in touch with different stakeholders in the sustainability field to gather information and share best practice.
