A research team consisting of thirteen students from Freie Universität Berlin has produced a podcast on the transition of seven different Asian countries to renewable energy usage in the year 2016. The nine bite-sized podcasts deal with the question of Asia continuing to dominate world energy consumption with heavy dependence on fossil fuels while the Paris Agreement in fact demanded the opposite.

UAS fellow Simon Schöning, who is currently on a student research stay at Saint Petersburg State University, is part of the team who produced the podcast series. In podcast number 3 he talks about the energy transition in Vietnam.
