Learning for a sustainable future

How do you make energy out of wind and cow dung? What have mashed potatoes and roast beef got to do with climate change? What does the tree trunk from the Grunewald tell us about global warming? How can we make the world fair and sustainable in the long term?

With our one-week program consisting of more than 100 different hands-on workshops and lectures we address and discuss social, economic, environmental and cultural aspects of sustainable development. Together with students, we develop solutitions for every day life.

The University's lecture halls, workshop rooms, the Botanical Garden, the Canteen, the weather station and other places transform into learning stations and creativity workshops. We use all senses to experience sustainability and climate protections.
