Building on Berlin’s unique and manifold academic environment, the Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science (BDPEMS) provides outstanding PhD candidates with state-of-the-art training in economics, fi nance, econometrics, and management science. It brings together expertise and excellence from all major universities and research institutions in Berlin. BDPEMS offers a structured doctoral education with individual research beginning at an early stage. The program follows leading international standards with an emphasis on rigorous analytical methods and quantitative analysis preparing students for cutting-edge research in a broad range of fields. It provides core education in macroeconomics, microeconomics, management science, and econometrics.
