I arrived in Berlin in September of 2015 after a postdoc at Princeton University. Before that, I got my Ph.D degree in the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and I did my undergraduate studies at Nanjing University, China. In my research I often use a toolbox of numerical techniques including exact diagonalization and DMRG/MPS algorithms to investigate strongly-interacting and topological quantum systems, such as fractional quantum Hall states and fractional Chern insulators.
