My research interest is the Ecological Network Analysis applications to ecosystem assessment. I believe it is important to bring together the System Modelling approaches and empirically derived ecosystem measurements in order to enhance our understanding on the complexity of real-world ecosystems. I am focused mainly on food webs of different type ecosystems. The relation of network structure to ecosystem functions is of my primary interests. I have joined the DCPS at FU with a focus on grassland trophic networks (specifically the Jena Experiment data).
