Postdoc Fellowships

The Postdoc Fellowships HONORS and POINT of Dahlem Research School (DRS) address critical stages in the career of junior researchers and strengthen the international dimension of Freie Universität’s research. Postdoctoral researchers of all nationalities are integrated into the university’s interdisciplinary and international research networks in an early phase of their career.

There are two different DRS Postdoc Fellowship lines:

» DRS HONORS Fellowships
» DRS POINT Fellowships

The fellowships foster academic career development through

  • integration into excellent research groups
  • facilitation of new co-operations in a stimulating research environment
  • research funding
  • development of teaching and leadership skills
  • a tailored qualification program

During their funding period, DRS fellows are supported in applying for funding for follow-up research projects at Freie Universität Berlin.

May 2016: POINT Alumnus Liav
