Before and during the dissertation phase many questions will arise: from those concerning the formal procedure to everyday questions. Freie Universität offers various services and counseling opportunities to ensure that you will find the right answers to your questions.
First Contact Point: Info-Service Studium
The first contact point for questions concerning studying at Freie Universität is the university’s central information service for students and applicants (called "Info-Service Studium"). Whether by phone, by email, or in a face-to-face conversation, the trained staff members are pleased to help. If by chance the staff of Info-Service Studium cannot answer your question, they will connect you to the right contact person.
Counseling at the Departments
Every department provides counseling for doctoral students in their Doctoral Studies Office.
