New international project: sustainable development and social inequalities in the Andean Region

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has recently granted funding for a cooperation project between the Latin America Institute of Freie Universität Berlin and the Pontificia Universidas Católica del Perú. The project called “trAndeS” aims to research the correlation between social injustice and possibilities of sustainable development in the Andean Region. “TrAndes” is addressing postgraduates and seeks to provide a plattform for advancing and strengthening the discourse on sustainable societies.

Head of the Sustainability and Energy Management Unit Andreas Wanke joined the first FUB delegation this November and held a workshop on sustainable campus management at the Pontificia Universidas Católica del Perú.
