The Liaison Office Eastern European of Freie Universität in Tbilisi has the following tasks:

• to support all members of Freie Universität in activities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia;
• to promote scientific exchange between Freie Universität and Eastern Europe and Central Asia;
• to strengthen teaching cooperation by setting up joint courses and degrees;
• to identify suitable partners for research cooperation in the region;
• to increase the visibility of Freie Universität in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and to highlight its excellent academic profile;
• Organizing alumni events and lectures and thereby contributing to a sustainable scientific exchange.
