Information Seminar within the Framework of the German Week in Saint Petersburg on May 24th

There are many different types of German research funding opportunities. Several organizations are dedicated to support science and research, especially on an international scale. The seminar will provide information about the characteristics of the German research landscape, as well as funding and career opportunities. It is intended for graduates, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers, as well for faculty and university administrators and representatives of research institutions from all branches of research.
The informative seminar, which will take place within the framework of the German week in Saint Petersburg, is being organized by the German House of Science and Innovation (DWIH) in Moscow. Dr. Berghorn, head of the DWIH project group, Dr. Kleineberg, head of the information center of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Saint Petersburg, Dr. Achterberg, head of the office of the German Research Foundation in Moscow, and Prof. Dr. Zhmud, a representative of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation will all take part. They will give short presentations about their institution and their programs.
The informative seminar will conclude with an open discussion, led by Tobias Stüdemann, head of the liaison office of Freie Universität Berlin in Moscow. The participants will be able to discuss the use of the presented funding opportunities and the additional offers of Freie Universität Berlin for their individual scientific careers.
