Professors Witte and Fluck visit Moscow

On March 15-17, 2012, Moscow State University and the Russian National Research University “Higher School of Economics” will be organizing an international conference entitled “Literature and Social Studies: Opportunities for Dialog.” Prof. Dr. Winfried Fluck from the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies and Prof. Dr. Georg Witte from the Peter Szondi Institute of Comparative Literature and the Institute for East European Studies at Freie Universität Berlin will be taking part in the conference.

Prof. Witte will be holding a lecture on "Psychopoetics: Emotional Experience in Reading“ as part of the ”Understanding Experience“ segment and Prof. Fluck a lecture on "Economics and Narrative“ in the segment "Interpreting the Narrative.“

During his stay in Moscow Prof. Witte will be holding negotiations for possible cooperation in the field of doctoral education in the area of Eastern European Studies.
