The programs objective is to give young journalists from TV, radio, online, and printed media an opportunity to become familiar with the historical development of the political, economic, and cultural base of the current media structure in Germany and the EU and experience the work of German journalists. The scholarship holders receive internships in editors' offices of various media in Berlin and Brandenburg, network with their colleagues from all over the world, and establish valuable connections.
