The next week the "Week of the Young Researcher" will be organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and the German House of Science and Innovation (DWIH) in cooperation with the Russian Union of Young Scientists (RosMU).
More than 50 young researchers and professors from different scientific disciplines in Germany and Russia were invited to present their research on the subject "Humans and Energy." Another purpose of the meeting is to give them an opportunity to get in contact with each other and with high-ranked representatives of German scientific organizations.
Attending from Freie Universität Berlin will be Prof. Dr. Rühl (Institute for Chemistry and Biochemistry - Physical and Theoretical Chemistry), the doctoral students Sandu-Daniel Kopp (Caspian Region Environmental and Energy Studies), Paul Kowitz (Research Center for Environmental Policy, FFU), and Patrick Stumpf (Institute for Chemistry and Biochemistry - Physical and Theoretical Chemistry), Gottfried Gügold (International Office), and Tobias Stüdemann (head of the liaison office in Moscow). The week will be used as well to deepen and further develop cooperation between Freie Universität Berlin and the Kasan (Volga Region) Federal University, which is hosting the event.
