At the invitation of the A. V. Poletaev Institute for Humanitarian historic-theoretical Research and the Faculty for History at the State University - Higher School of Economics, Prof. Dr. Getrud Pickhan, head of the History Department of the East European Institute of Freie Universität Berlin, will give a talk in Moscow on January 28th 2011. Her presentation will be in English and is called: The visual history. Three Jewish artists and their historical contexts (Isaak Levitan - Max Liebermann - Maurycy Gottlieb). In the following discussion questions may be asked in English as well as in Russian.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Prior registration is mandatory.
