The focus of the short, but intense stay was the search for images as historical sources of the 19th century as well as research for a new book on the reception of the Russian-Jewish painter Isaac Ilyich Levitan (1860 – 1900). In addition, new research projects on the history of radio were discussed with partners of the German Historical Insitute (Deutsches Historisches Institut, DHI) and the Higher School of Economics.
