The International Research Training Group (IRTG) ‘Between Spaces. Movements, Actors and Representations of Globalisation’ at the Freie Universität Berlin invites applications for 13 PhD grants.
The IRTG adopts a new perspective in the study of globalisation. It seeks to make an innovative contribution to a transnational and interdisciplinary field of study by means of a dialogue between the social sciences and the humanities that is further informed by the respective academic traditions in Mexico and Germany. The IRTG studies movements between different world regions and the new spaces that have emerged during both past and present periods of ever-increasing global interconnectivity.
Applications from the following disciplines are welcome: History, Political Sciences, Literature and Cultural Studies, Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Economics and Gender Studies.
