The Center for Cluster Development (CCD) plans and promotes the long-term development of research activities at Freie Universität Berlin. The team at the Center for Cluster Development supports and assists the scholars, scientists, and researchers at the university in developing research alliances. The CCD supports efforts to more sharply delineate specific topics and to develop suitable management capacity and provides assistance in making contact with appropriate potential sources of funding.

Excellent interdisciplinary research – in cooperation with partners from academia and other sectors worldwide – forms the basis for innovations in industry, politics, and cultural development.
