Tanja Siebert is a „real Berliner“, born and raised in Wilmersdorf. She went to school in Schöneberg and after finishing „high school“ she worked in Florida for Disney World in the German Pavillion at Epcot Center. She studied German and North American Studies at the FU-Berlin. From 1998 till 2008 she was a presenter and journalist first at Jazzradio Berlin and later at Radio Paradiso. In 1998 she also had her first professional performance as a jazz singer and has kept on singing ever since.
For ten years she‘s been an instructor for jazz singing, ensemble and music theory at the Jazzschule Berlin and in 2011 came back to her passion for languages. She did the teacher training for DaF at the International House in Freiburg and enjoys teaching German a lot.
Her interests include music, languages, travelling and cuban salsa dancing!
