Mr. Kapp studied Philosophy, History and German Literature at Freie Universität Berlin and Universität Potsdam. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Potsdam Graduate School at the Moses Mendelssohn Center for European-Jewish Studies Potsdam (MMZ). He is an associated historian at the Centre for Contemporary History (ZZF) in Potsdam. Currently he is working as research assistant in association with the Axel Springer Endowed Chair for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History, Exile and Migration at Viadrina-Universität Frankfurt/Oder. He is completing his Ph.D. with a study on the German publisher Walter Boehlich. His research interests include German literature, contemporary German history, and the history of publishing.
