The integration of gender aspects into regulations governing university programs and examinations, and thus into students’ education, is a stated aim at Freie Universität.
The introduction of the new programs has offered, and continues to offer, a wide range of possible ways to firmly establish the importance of gender aspects. These possibilities range from integration into
goals of studies,
goals for qualifications,
instructional content, and
advanced and compulsory elective courses
to full gender studies programs, such as the course of study in Gender and Diversity Studies.
