The fourth annual workshop of the Focus Area DynAge took place on 15th November 2016 in the Topoi Building Dahlem of the Freie Universität Berlin.
The program featured the keynote ‘Inflammation and organ ageing’ by Professor Ursula Müller-Werdan (Medical Director of the Evangelische Geriatriezentrum Berlin and Professor for Geriatrics and Internal Medicine at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin) as well as presentations of work in progress of the six DynAge project groups of the forth funding period. For the first time, DynAge associated postdocs presented ‘New frontiers in DynAge work: Pitches by early career researchers’ with a subsequent interactive ‘Meet the postdocs’ session. Additionally, there was a poster exhibition of DynAge’s ‘research-oriented teaching’ program.
