Jacopo Maria Pepe, M.A., holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rome 3 and a M.A. in International Relations from a joint study program of the Universities of Potsdam, the Humboldt University and the Free University of Berlin. Since winter term 2010/2010 he is graduating within the framework of CREES. His dissertation deals with the Russian foreign policy in South Caucasus and Central Asia.
His research focuses on the theoretical premises of geopolitics and geoeconomics, on Russian security and energy policy as well as on European social and trade union policies.
