Hamed Beheshti, M.A., holds a B. A. in Political Science from the University of Teheran, a Diploma in Renewable Energy Management in Developing Countries from the TU Dresden and a M.A. in Environmental Sciences/Policy Planning from the American University of Beirut. He gained practical experience as a renewable energy adviser (Rayhana Group, Beirut), as a Renewable Energy Project Manager (Baran, renewable energy company, Beirut) and as a Researcher at the Iranian Ministry of Energy. Moreover, he is a member of the board of directors of the Renewable Energy Academy in Teheran.
His dissertation topic is: „Iran Renewable Energy Policy Scenario in the Context of Privatization Law and Elimination of Energy Subsidies“.
