Andranik Aslanyan, M.A., born in 1988, received his B.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Yerevan State University in Armenia and his M.A. in Political Science at the Free University Berlin.
He gained initial work experience through internships at various Armenian government agencies including the National Assembly and diplomatic missions. Andranik was also an IPS scholar at the German Bundestag (2010) and advisor to the Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (2013).
Since the summer term of 2013, he is pursuing a doctoral degree at CREES on the subject “The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the role of Great Powers and regional actors (1991-2014).”
