Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies is announcing PhD study places (stipends not included) to begin on October 1st, 2016 its doctoral program:
“Languages and Cultures of the Silk Road” provides a structured three-year doctoral program for doctoral candidates in the fields of Iranian Studies, Turkology and Central Asian Studies. We supervise dissertations that emphasize linguistics, philology, editing and literary criticism and that deal with historical or cultural and religious studies.
Applicants specializing in ancient studies and related disciplines are invited to apply.
Required documents for your application for a study place within one of the doctoral programs:
application form, cover letter (2-3 pages), description of the dissertation proposal (8 pages), work plan and time schedule, CV, copies of university degree(s) and language certificates, two letters of recommendation and an example of your work (15-20 pages).
