The MBL-FU Degree at a glance

The master’s program in business law is intended to give young jurists and economists from businesses, companies, law- firms, and public authorities the opportunity to gain in-depth, specialist knowledge in business and competition law to enhance their professional skills. In addition to professors of business law, experienced specialist legal practitioners from competition and regulation authorities and from law firms will instruct students. The program enables students to specialize as required by their particular profession

Target group Legal scholars and economists from businesses, law firms and public authorities with interest in business and regulatory law

International and European business and competition law and also their economic foundations with focus in regulatory law (telecommunication und energy).

Lecturers Classes are held from professors of business law and also from experts from law firms and public authorities.
Structure All-day classes on Fridays and Saturdays and e-learning exercises

Acceptance capacity Up to 32 study places
Duration and beginning of the course 1 year / beginning in October of each year
Degree University degree "Master of Business Law (MBL)"
Admission requirements
  • University degree, preferably from legal studies
  • proof of work experience, in principle not less than a year
  • Proof of knowledge of the English language at the level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (not required if applicant's first university degree was taught in English)

Tuition fees

9.500,-€ plus semester fees and other expenses (for the academic year 2016/2017).
