The public consultation on Building a European data economy is intended to shape the future policy agenda on this topic. Its results will feed into the Commission's possible future initiative on the European Data Economy, that might follow the release of the Communication and Staff Working Document on Building a European data economy early this year.

QuantERA is a new European Research Area Network (ERA-Net) in the field of Quantum Technologies and was established as an answer to the growing need for a common funding scheme for collaborative research in this field. Furthermore, QuantERA supports the preparatory phase of the FET Quanten Flagship that is likely to start in 2018.
