This year's conference of the Joint Research Center of the EU is titled „EU4FACTS: Evidence for policy in a post-fact world“.
Researchers, politicians and and other stakeholders are invited to discuss the topic of evidence-based policy making from multiple perspectives during this one-day event.
The conference aims to produce a set of clear recommendations for successful evidence-informed policy making institutions, processes and individuals.
The event consists of three thematic blocks:
I. Why we should trust in Science?
II. Governing: emotions versus numbers
III. Re-designing policymaking using behavioural and decision science
Additionally, young researchers who would like to showcase their research on the theme of the event, are invited to submit short videos. The winners of the competition will be announced during the conference and a selection of the best videos will be shown.
