Organised under the auspices of the Maltese EU-Presidency, the 8th EuroNanoForum will take place in Valletta, Malta, from the 21st to the 23rd of June 2017. Over the last couple of years, the conference has grown into the most significant European forum in its field for scientists, industrialists and policy makers.
This years' conference will focus on how nano and materials technologies can strengthen competitiveness across all European industries.
Therefore, it also addresses the framework conditions such as education, standards, regulations, IPR and safety issues, as well as entrepreneurship and industrial policy. Furthermore, the programme will include information on the funding of projects through European and national programmes, in particular Horizon 2020, smart specialisation and public-private partnership initiatives.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear over 70 top-level speakers from politics, industry and science speak in 3 plenaries and 15 sessions. Additionally, the event provides various opportunities for interaction and networking, such as workshops, exhibitions and matchmaking events.
