On December 7th, the European Commission welcomes researchers, innovators, policy makers and other stakeholders to debate current and future developments for cultural heritage at risk.
The conference focuses on the role of research and innovation in order to increase resilience of cultural heritage sites in the face of climate change and natural disasters.
Discussions center around questions like “What are the recent results from EU research and innovation projects? What will be the next steps?” or “How can the new EU strategy for international cultural relation help reinforcing cooperation for cultural heritage?”
The event will be divided into two parts. Discussions with EU and international policy makers will take place in the morning, whereas the afternoon session it reserved for workshops on EU research and innovation projects.
