A total of 6,000 tulip bulbs and early flowering bulbs will be planted over the course of two days with the help of volunteers. It is hoped that next spring there will be a colorful bed of flowers that will be a source of food for wild bees at the beginning of the breeding season. Wild bees play a major role in the pollination of wild plants and crops and thus contribute to rich harvests. Unfortunately, they are dying out. The bulb planting is intended to provide them with a new habitat at Freie Universität. Anyone who is interested is welcome to help. Shovels and planting aids will be available for volunteers. Everyone who helps will be given a tulip bulb as a gesture of thanks.
