Subjects Taught at Freie Universität Berlin Did Well in Latest CHE University Ranking

Business Administration, Economics, and Law Were Reassessed

In the most recent CHE University Ranking, subjects at Freie Universität Berlin were again rated very well. New achievements were recorded, particularly in the field of business administration. The university also reached the top group in economics and law, as in the last assessment of these subjects in 2011.

In the CHE Ranking one third of the subjects are re-evaluated each year. The subjects evaluated this year are business administration, economics and political economy, law, social work, media studies, computer science in economics, industrial engineering, and business law, many of which are not taught at Freie Universität Berlin. According to CHE, more than 300 universities and universities of applied science in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands are evaluated. In addition to facts related to the classes taught, teaching methods, facilities, and research, the rankings also include the results of surveys of some 15,000 professors and 200,000 students.

For the following subjects, Freie Universität is represented in the top groups of the indicators (overall assessment and student opinion):
