Political Scientist William M. Chandler to Speak at Freie Universität

The U.S. presidential campaign is in full swing. On Monday, October 8, 2012, William M. Chandler, a professor of political science at the University of California – San Diego, and Miranda A. Schreurs, a professor of political science at Freie Universität, will discuss the chances of both candidates. The potential impact on U.S. policy and transatlantic relations will also be part of the discussion, which will be held in English.

William M. Chandler specializes in comparative policy analysis. His main research interests include the political systems of Canada, Germany, France, Italy and the European Union. Chandler has been a visiting professor in Germany at the universities of Tübingen and Oldenburg.
