French Philosopher to Hold Three Public Lectures

Jacques Ranciére, French philosopher and visiting fellow at Freie Universität Berlin, will be holding three lectures in Berlin. As a research fellow at the Collaborative Research Center "Aesthetic Experience and the Dissolution of Artistic Limits" Rancière will speak on "The Reality Effect and the Politics of Fiction" and  "Narrations of Time and Space." There will be a screening of Gabbla (Inland), a film by Tariq Teguia. The events will all be held in English.

The Collaborative Research Center 626 "Aesthetic Experience and the Dissolution of Artistic Limits"  is a DFG project at Freie Universität Berlin. Its spokesperson is the film scholar, Prof. Dr. Gertrud Koch.
