The Research Alumni Program at Freie Universität offers doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers from abroad grants for research stays at Freie Universität.

Application requirements: The supervisor at the applicant’s home institution abroad must be a Research Alumnus/a, i.e. a former visiting scholar at Freie Universität. The research stays must be carried out at Freie Universität. The Research Alumnus/a should facilitate the communication between the applicant and the potential host at Freie Universität.

Goal: The program aims at revitalizing or intensifying existing contacts between researchers at Freie Universität and Research Alumni. Their networks could be opened to junior researchers who would benefit from those contacts and experiences.

Outgoing track: Freie Universität junior researchers may also apply for research stays hosted by Research Alumni abroad.
