Within the scope of the International Network strategy of Freie Universität Berlin (FUB), the Center for International Cooperation funds international research workshops with partner institutions abroad. The objective of these workshops is the identification and utilization of complementary research strengths and opportunities for research cooperation.
The program supports research workshops with international partners that aim to identify and implement joint research interests and projects. The partner institution is chosen by the applicant, however, in accordance with the principle of “matching funds,” the workshop has to be funded in equal parts by both the partner institution and Freie Universität.
