Programs for Young Scholars at Freie Universität Berlin

Targeted aid to outstanding young scholars and scientists at Freie Universität is provided through programs established by the German Research Foundation (DFG), such as the DFG research training groups, and in five graduate schools approved as part of the Excellence Initiative of the German federal government and federal states in 2006 and 2007, in 2012 two graduate schools more.

In addition to other doctoral groups, Dahlem Research School at Freie Universität Berlin provides an opportunity to link together promotion of young scholars and research funding on an interdisciplinary basis.
