Syrians as Global Citizens: Paths towards Success in Europe

04.06.2016 | 09:00 - 17:00

Jusoor's fourth Annual Conference - The conference is organized in partnership with Freie Universität Berlin and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

As the Syrian conflict enters its 5th year, thousands of Syrians have left their homes as refugees, with many settling in Europe. Jusoor’s 2016 global conference focuses on higher education, innovative non-formal education projects, career development, and social integration for Syrians in Europe. Our aim is to provide space for sharing and cultivation of ideas — engaging corporations, non-profit organizations, community leaders, and established Syrian communities in Europe to scale successes and mobilize support toward them.

The program is targeted towards global leaders around the world who are working to identify innovative solutions to address the education and career development challenges faced by Syrian children and youth.
At this year’s conference, you will have the chance to hear from and meet innovators across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors who are working tirelessly to find ways to ensure Syrian children and youth receive an education, find employment opportunities, and are able to integrate into host communities.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of what’s working across Germany and Europe and where there continue to be challenges.
